Re: nvidia or radeon
Both PC has ATI 9660 and 9800.. both are 256mb DDR2... It does hell of job doing convert VCD or SVCD than my Nivida that I notice.. while after watching burned CD-R and it look much better than any previous burned CD-R with Nvidia...

Re: nvidia or radeon
*NVIDIA or ATI*
Both are very good, but NVIDIA has a more advanced SLI line up because it has been around longer. The top single card bench record is held by ATI, but for SLI I believe NVIDIA holds the record.
But it matters what ur budget is and what You will be doing with your card.

NVIDA preforms best on AMD sustems, as Radon does on Intel systems

I've used Nvidia on all my comps until i got my laptop, the card in that is a radeon, and being honest i see better qualtiy in the nvidia cards.
