I use Radeon in all of my boxes. They tend to be a little higher quality, though, from what I read, Nvidia is on the cutting edge as well. It may come down to price for you!

    Re: nvidia or radeon

Both PC has ATI 9660 and 9800.. both are 256mb DDR2... It does hell of job doing convert VCD or SVCD than my Nivida that I notice.. while after watching burned CD-R and it look much better than any previous burned CD-R with Nvidia...

    *NVIDIA or ATI*

Both are very good, but NVIDIA has a more advanced SLI line up because it has been around longer. The top single card bench record is held by ATI, but for SLI I believe NVIDIA holds the record.

But it matters what ur budget is and what You will be doing with your card.
