Samsung Galaxy Tab – ipad rival?

I’ve taken a look at Samsungs new Galaxy Tab, and I have to say that I’m very impressed. It’s got a 7” touchscreen and will run android 2.2 (froyo) which is pretty awesome. It’s as quick as an iPad and with all the new apps coming out for Android, I think it’ll be able to soon rival it in sales…if the price comes down a bit.

me too... i'm an Apple computer person, but i like the Galaxy Tab, Flash, Swype, Camera, i just want to make sure i can purchase WiFi only, i don't need another Data Plan. The iPad is pretty limited.

i gonna check out the Samsung Tablet today, i'm leaning towards the Apple iPad right now until i hold the Tablet in my hand and use it. I'm a Apple Computer person, and... i love my Android Cell Phone, so i'm caught in the middle... i'm leaning towards Apple a little, yet i haven't count the Tablet out.

The Pro's and Con's of both have me undecided, i've use the iPad in the store and a relative swears by it... but my two concerns are.... iPad no flash... Apps not made (size to fill screen) for the tablet. There's an App called SPARE PARTS that might solve the Apps not filling the screen problem which i will look into. There's also an App for the iPad called SKYFIRE which supports Flash video viewing... except Hulu and Flash Games... so i been told, again i'll have to look into these claims.
