Download KaZaa before they get shutdown - they have WinXP Pro Corporate on there (the only version that doesn't require activation - to my knowledge)
Kazaa does contain spyware - so also download DietKaza. It removes the spyware and filters out annoying adds.

Oh wow! I didn't know Diet KaZa existed! Awesome man! I really need that. Grokster was getting rediculous with their popups. And I didn't feel like removing the spy ware by hand again. (i.e. changing dll files and such)

I was lucky enough to get a copy of XP Pro when it first came out. I don't know where the guy got it though. Just make sure you have a good connection when you download. At least Cable.

Jeeesssuuusss... you guys are talking about downloading how many hundred mb?.

Over here in Brunei (S.E. Asia), we can only get a 128kb line (with a throughput of less than 3kb). No way we can download something that big. Even 2 or 3mb is big for us.

However, lucky us... if we want something like WinXP pro, we just go down to the local store and get it on a pirate CD for about US$2.

lol.... life ain't so bad here after all!

with ADSL, i have a maximal download speed of 100kb/s so if the distant server have a good connection, i download the cd of winxp pro in less than 2 hours ..
more and more people have ADSL, so now it's normal to share files of 1,2,3,10,50,100,or 1000Mb without any problem...
    Bye bye,

    Diego

Alas, that is not true in all parts of the world......

........... here in South East Asia, either the best we can get is the old modem lines, or else anything 128kbs or over is just too cost-prohibitive for personal users.

There's still a lot of jungle out here and most of the monkeys haven't heard about the Internet yet. I'm talking about the vertical-walking hairless ones as well as the orang-utans.

all the files that you download on Kazaa are compressed and are not fully RAW data....plus you leave it to download overnight with DSL or cable and it's done by the morning...there's nothing too it..............it's not like your gonna stick around and watch it download anyways.................that's just stupid (trust me i know people that do that)
