I have XP home edition and i've had almost no problems. surprises me considering how bad my windows 98 was

Windows XP is the standard, but I voted for Mac due to its stability and the fact that there a never any viruses to worry about.

I use Red Hat in the meantime but have XP running, too.

I prefer Windows XP Professional Edition... it's the fastest OS you can get now...

Windows XP Pro has been the best in terms of the balance between stability and usability.

Windows XP Pro although, it's still new so still have to work out all the real life issues... I have a Mac too OS X seems to be okay depends on what you want from it each one has it's pros & cons.

Linux/Slackware is my favorit dist but i also i have XP on my comuter. Dual boot from start.

Slackware with blackbox is the ultimate Operating system ! =)

I prefer Windows XP Professional Edition too. But for producing music , you need more like mac. But for the regular stuff like internet and listen music xp is doing a good job.

xp pro is it for me. i prefer to use w2k @ work though, cos xp interface is childish.
