That's strange - I've not run into that one before...
If it's a problem that started after you installed IEv6, you might try unistalling and reinstalling it...

You might try going with a Download Manager:
GetRight, FlashGet, NetAnts or Download Acellerator (NO spyware )

Most free DL managers have spyware included, so be sure to get and run AdAware (freeware) http://www.lavasoftusa.com/aaw.html

Yeah I've got to be honest - IE6 is a bag of crap waiting to happen. It's been riddled with problems since it's premature release. I recently uninstaled it after it installed with MSDN library. If you go to Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs you can return to a previous instalation

I think IE 5.5 SP2 is a much more stable option and doesn't crash or freeze like IE 666

Agree with Chivs - v6 blows...
    There are other alternatives though...
Opera, Netscape, Phoenix... There are a few IE loaders too, that work off a few IE .dlls, but don't load entire oozing monster.

maybe you have to take a look at the internet options--> security settings.

maybe you have to activate an item of this.
