Assuming that you've followed the mobile blogs for the past few months, then you should be aware of the fact that HTC is brewing a phablet. Dubbed the "HTC One Max", this particular device has been leaked enough times so that we have a pretty accurate idea on what to expect, despite the fact that the handset is not yet official. Now, a new leak has emerged, "confirming" that Verizon will be among the first carriers to retail the Max in the US.

The images you see above have been recently posted on the Android Central forums, and as you can tell, they depict a white HTC One Max unit with a Verizon logo on the front panel.

This comes as a pleasant surprise. The carrier in question hasn't really been in a rush to release the HTC One, and it did so only months after the launch of the handset on other networks. The situation seems to be different with the One Max, and Verizon seems to be interested in delivering a branded variant of HTC's phablet in a timely manner.

I should also note that, unlike Verizon's HTC One, the One Max does have the carrier's logo where you'd usually see HTC's brand – in between the navigation buttons.

As far as the rumored specifications go, the One Max is rumored to feature a 6 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. In terms of design, the Max borrows the same cues from the HTC One, delivering the same BoomSound dual stereo front-facing speaker setup. There are, however, a few differences. Allegedly, the Max will feature a removable back cover and a fingerprint sensor. The screen bezel also seems to be quite narrow.

That's all there is to it for now, but we're bound to learn more about the Max as the launch date approaches.
