The Nexus 5 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, not only because the device is going to introduce Android 4.4 KitKat on the mobile market, but also because the Nexus 5 is expected to deliver top-notch hardware specs at a friendly price (in the same way that the Nexus 4 did before it).

In case you're wondering what the Nexus 5 has to offer exactly, then the most recent leak should give you a pretty clear idea on what you can expect.

To be more precise, what appears to be the technical manual for the LG Nexus 5 has been recently leaked on the web. This particular manual has revealed not only the design of the device (which can be observed in the line drawing above) but also various hardware specifications of the smartphone.

According to the information found in this manual, the Nexus 5 is going to feature a 4.95 inch IPS LCD display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080, a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor running at a frequency of 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The handset will also feature an 8 MP main camera boasting OIS (optical image stabilization), a 1.3 MP front-facing sensor, a notification LED, a HDMI out via Slimport and a 2,300 mAh battery. It also seems to deliver wireless charging capabilities.

Unfortunately, the leaked manual has been taken down shortly after it went up, as LG has requested various tech blogs to do so. This can be viewed as some sort of confirmation that the manual was indeed real, and not an elaborate hoax.

As far as the launch date of the Nexus 5 goes, evidently, the manual has not revealed anything regarding the matter. However, previous leaks have suggested that the handset might go on sale in November, after an unveiling that will take place sometime by the end of this month.
