Sony Xperia S will launch in Australia in April with several retailers and two carriers

Vodafone Australia, Crazy John and Optus, will all soon launch the Sony Xperia S. The Sony Xperia S will launch in Australia, unlocked and should become available with Vodafone Australia on April 11. Optus will also launch the Sony Xperia S in April, but no exact launch date was mentioned.

Allphones, Harvey Norman, Telechoice, JB Hifi and Dick Smith Electronics, are all Australian retailers who will also carry and launch the Sony Xperia S. The device will be available in Black or White and will come with these following features: Android 2.3 Gingerbread (upgradable to Android 4.0 ICS), the Sony Xperia S features a 4.3 inch Reality Display with 1280 x 720 pixels, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a 12MP rear camera with 1080p video recording.
