    Sidekick 2

[COLOR=SlateGray]If your thinking of getting a T-mobile phone, especially the sidekick2, (by the way is an awesome phone), i wouldnt get prepaid. You'll end up paying more for the damn mins. that you use to surf the net, check email or whatever you want to do then if you just bought a plan. The normal plan for the sidekick 2 is $60. You get 600 mins, nights and weekends and the sidekick 2 unlimited data plan. That way you can surf, download and check email as much as you want!! 60.00 really isnt to much considering all the things that you can do with the sidekick2. It's an awesome phone, i love mine and you'll probably like it to.

i just buy a sidekick 2 with the regular plans (not a prepaid).i use it as internet browser, instant messenging..e mailing.i dont use it as a regular phone.cause it is not very handy (especially when u dial a number) and not very comfortable either.it does have a speaker function, however, when i use speaker to answer a call.the other party can hardly hear me.

ok, now i found out it doesnt support java also. im finding more and more wrong with sk2. but i heard they are gonna be supporting java by december hopefully? so does this mean better apps will be made? maybe an irc client? so here is my other question. how do you guys get ringtones? just through the download function on the sidekick2? cause no sites support em and even if they did there is no way to save them. so whats the deal?

u can get ringtones off the catalog, the sk2 does support java, but not javascript (or vice-versa) and the apps made for the sk are better, lol. as for the irc client, i posted an answer on your post "Sidekick2/Irc".

I have a usb cable too. Its useless too us unless we are a developer.. If you are a developer you could create new programs, change the icons, and get free ringtones.. but they dont just give out the developer key to any average joe. You have to show them that you are capable of creating programs for them in the future. I hope this helps
