Hi guys, I am considering to get the plan that has Unlimited incoming local call, but I am wondering what actually is "Unlimited incoming local call". Most of my incoming calls are from family memeber in US, but those calls are made through calling cards not direct lines. Would those be considered as local call? I called Fido and they weren't sure about it. I am wondering if some of you have seen that before. Thanks

as long as you are in your home area, ie whatever area code you have with your number, then calls should be free with that plan, regardless of whether or not the calls are coming from within your city. i have that same plan and i'm currently living in toronto because i attend school here, but when i get calls from montreal (my home town) i don't get charged. only the people calling me are paying for long distance.
i'm not exactly sure if this would change if the calls originate from another country, but i don't see why it would.
    hope this helps!

They put the local there so people dont move to a different city and think they have unlimtied incoming calls.

as long as you're using your phone in your own area, it doesn't matter who's calling you...it will be free
