ANyone know much about this phone? You can look it up on their website, http://www.skteletech.com/english/main.asp
I got it from a buddy that went to Korea and I want to load some images and ringtones; but I don't know if I can use files that work on other phones. I know it plays .ma3, .ma4 and .mmf files.
Any help is appreciated...BTW, its a bad ass phone.

I'm getting that phone from Korea in about a month to use on Verizon. I'm getting the PC hookup with it (usb cable/software) so I'll let you know when I find out.

    SK 7200

Yeah Euro, let me know when you get it. I'm having a hell of a time getting ringtones for that thing. Every program that I use to convert midi or mp3 to MMF doesn't work on that phone. Its supposed to be 64 chords so I don't know what to do.
I know if Korea you can d/l from Nate.com to get tones, pics, etc... but its directly from the service provider. Think we're out of it, at least in the states.

    Heya

I'd be interested in knowing more about this phone too. I just got one the other day in Koreatown here in New York City. It's pretty awesome except all the super cool services are dead without the Nate connection.

I have the Korean lang manual but my hangul is pretty weak. If you guys learn more about this phone's features, I'd much appreciate hearing about it. Also, any idea how I can get a USB cable to hook up to my computer?

I just got mine in san jose local store. the USB cable has been standardized in korea. I used to have the curitel S2 phone and it used the exact same usb cord. the Phone is awesome by the way. loading the songs and pictures are done by SK datamanager which is avail on the SK site. I dont know how to make songs.. my cousin in korea runs a cell phone site so i get my songs from him i have about 400 songs... the best part about the phone is that it has built in 64mb for june games and you can down load those too. us lang manuel is also avalible on their site.ENJOY your phones these are awesome!!!

Hey Park828..I've been looking all over the web for a korean person that knows about this phone. I saw this phone in the newspaper and I called several stores that were sellin this phone as well as the lee hyo ree phone (samsung v420) and the samsung slider (e170 but that isn't worth gettin cuz t-mobile is comin out with d410), and they said it was $480 for 2 year contract with verizon and $530 for 1 year contract!! I understand that it is a cool phone and all, but is it worth buying? I get tired of the phones that are out in america easily..i mean cmon...those phones suck compared to the ones in Korea. I went to www.cetizen.com for their review and it looks pretty cool and i'm tryin to decide whether to get this or the lee hyo ree phone..its the samsung v420( if u watch korean dramas, its the phone that gun hee uses in hwang te jah eh chut sarang). I'm hooked on this phone because it looks so cool and i like the silver and the white one. ok...so my main question is....is the sky worth spending that much money? i heard in korea its like 480,000 won~500,000 won which is a lot less than 530$. and oh yeah... how can i get the usb cable for the mp3 function? thas a problem too because one of the reasons why i wanna get this phone is for the mp3 function. itd be cool if u reply..thanks a lot

i've never tried to look for the english driver but.. i'll try.. oh ya the phone was worth it for me.. if you want the mp3 function you need the new version of the phone 7200p 7200 does not do the mp3 fuctions. and i have about 300 songs in my rightone collection. let me know if you want a perticular song.. mostly korean though.. like this one

you must dl this soft and setup. sky 7200 setup file include diver for IR so that you don't need cable to exchange pic, movie and ringtons. BUT if you have cable, you can upload MP3 to yr phone.
    cheer.

    dear paltalk
first you need to download the
    data management from the www.sksky.com
you have to download the 7400 version of it
    but the hard part is
    its all in korean..
so you might not know what to do next..
if you have a korean friend who can translate it
that would be the fastest way..
    and the mp3 songs
you need to down load the song first
make it into a 3g file through quicktime
and then convert it to the skm file in order to put it in ur phone
if you have anyother questions email me
