Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help me with what seems to be an impossible task. I recently came across two phones I want to purchase. One for my fiancé [ Hello Kitty Okwap A263 ], and one for me [ Okwap S762 .
Can these work in the U.S.? They do not have 1900 frequency. Do any providers cover them??
Is it possible?
Thanks!!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if this is the phone you're talking about, http://www.worldgsm.org/imp_hk.shtml, then NO, it doesn't work in the U.S. The specs say 900/1800. Maybe those people you know have a different phone because that one, like yours, will NOT work. NOT with any special antena, NOT with anything. I can understand your frustration but all I can say is find other phones to buy, and be thankful you haven't already purchased them.
