My razr just died on me and I am looking to replace it. Should I get another razr or is there a good competitor with a similar or smaller form factor? I don't care about any features beyond being able to hear well (something the razr isn't great at) and maybe some ease in typing messages. Cameras, mp3, blue tooth, games, etc. mean nothing to me. Thanks!

To help answer your question, what service provider do you need the phone for?

Other things being equal, I would go with T-Mobile....but I'm open to any provider at this point. I'm mostly interested in getting the slimmest/smallest form factor I can find with excellent reception.

Re: Looking for a small phone with good reception
I have 2 months left on my T-mobile contract, but as I said that doesn't matter much to me. I need a new phone now.

Here are some small/thin size phones with different carriers:
If you stay with T-Mobile - Samsung T509 or Samsung T809
Sprint - Samsung A900
Cingular - Motorola L7
