Pantech is bringing yet another handset to the markets and one that you will more than likely not see around in the Western hemisphere. The WPP-8000 is not like any other phone simply due to the fact it doesn't rely on GSM or CDMA, but rather it relies on wireless LAN using the carrier's iHub service and it uses LG Dacom’s myLG070 service. The WPP-800 is also a candy bar type phone and is a WiFi phone that can display information such as caller id and can be used for texting.
