I am using an unlocked Sony Ericsson Cybershot 905 (c905i) that I bought off ebay. I bought the unlocked so I could use the WiFi and it is working exactly as I had hoped. Can surf internet check e-mail or whatever using my home wireless internet and at hotspots without having to purchase a data plan.
My phone is also equipped with GPS. My question is if there is any way to use the GPS function without having a data plan? If so, how would I go about doing that. It seems like I read on another post that there is a map program you can download to your phone that will make this possible, but I am not sure...and I can't find the post again.
