A new Android smartphone has just been unveiled by Pantech, the Vega X. Some of the features of the Vega X include: Android 2.2 Froyo, 4" WVGA touchscreen display, 5MP camera with auto focus and 1GHz Snapdragon MSM8255 processor. The Vega X comes equipped with DDR2 memory, which is said to be the first Android handset to use the DDR2. The DDR2 will allow the handset to run 1.5 faster than the other smartphones which were using DDR1.
According to a statement made by Pantech's Vice President Lee Eung-joon, When surfing the Internet, searching the Web, running applications or 3D games, its speed is so fast that it could threaten the existence of personal computers
The Vega X is expected to launch later this week in South Korea with KT and LG Telecom.
