My wife just replaced her cell phone with a new one from Verizon, and I have the old phone, which worked just fine. I am wondering if I can use this old phone by simply buying a phone card. Or do I need to go through an unlocking procedure, which I do not know too much about. The old phone is a Motorola T2260.
Thanks for any advice.

My advise is to get the phone unlocked so you can freely choose whichever network carrier you want or you can just get a PAYG plan on Verizon
