Taking a Picture:
- While on the home screen, tap the "Camera" icon
- To zoom in or out, tap the "Zoom" icon (magnifying glass with a "+") and drag the slider that appears on screen (drag left to zoom out, right to zoom in)
- To enable the flash, tap the "Settings" icon depicting two cogs. Then tap "Light" > "Next" and select the desired flash setting
- To change from the rear to front camera, tap the camera icon located at the bottom-right corner of the viewfinder (when in landscape mode)
- Tap the "Camera" icon on the viewfinder to capture a picture
Setting a Recently Captured Picture as Your Phone's Wallpaper:
- Tap the "Apps" icon located on the home screen
- Tap "Gallery"
- Select the desired album
- Browse through your images and tap the one that you wish to set as a wallpaper
- Press the "Menu" button on your device
- Select "Set picture as" > "Wallpaper"
- Crop the image as you desire then tap "Crop" at the top-right corner of the display
- Press the "Home" key on your device to return to the home screen
Recording a Video:
- Access the "Camera" app
- Press the "Camera mode" toggle located at the bottom-right corner while in landscape mode
- To change between recording with the front or rear camera, tap the camera icon located next to the "Camera mode" toggle
- To adjust the video settings for messaging, tap the "Video resolution" icon located on top of the "Settings" button (in landscape mode) and select "Message attachment". Confirm by pressing "OK"
- To start recording a video, tap the "Record" button
- To capture a photo while recording a video, tap the "Camera" button located at the bottom-right corner of the display (in landscape mode)
