Using iCloud:

iCloud is a great backup service that also offers the possibility to create a vCard containing your backed up contacts. Assuming that you've used iCloud before, then your iPhone contacts should already be backed up. Next up, perform the following and you'll be set on your Android as well:

  1. Use your computer's Internet browser to visit https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click "Contacts" and from the list, select the contacts that you want to export
  4. Click the icon depicting a cog wheel, located in the bottom-left side. Then, select "Export vCard"
  5. A VCF file will be downloaded on your computer
  6. Import the VCF file to Google Contacts. Otherwise, you can connect your Huawei Vitria to your computer and copy the file to the "sdcard" directory. Then, open the contacts app, tap "Menu" > "Manage contacts" > "Import from storage" and select the desired VCF file

Using iTunes:

Aside from a place to buy music digitally and a great music player, iTunes is also a powerful syncing tool. It gives the option to sync your iPhone contacts with an Android account, thus making it easy to transfer your contacts to the Huawei Vitria. For this method you need a computer with iTunes installed.

  1. Launch iTunes on your PC
  2. Use the proprietary USB cable to connect your iPhone to your computer
  3. In iTunes, click on your iPhone and access the device's summary page
  4. Go to the "Info" tab
  5. Mark the check box next to "Sync Contacts With", and click "Google Contacts" in the drop-down list
  6. Enter your Google account's log in details, if you haven't added an account before. If you did, then click "Configure" and choose an existing account.
  7. Click "Apply" to commence the syncing process between iTunes and Google
  8. Switch over to the Huawei Vitria and sign in with the same Google account as the one used in iTunes. (NOTE: to add an account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts")
  9. Set your Google account so that it can sync contacts with your Android device

Using "My Contacts Backup":

My Contacts Backup is an iOS application that allows you to transfer contacts via email. For this approach you don't need access to a computer. The contacts are transferred via email in the form of a vCard.

  1. Visit the App Store and download "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap "Backup" to create a vCard file containing your iPhone contacts
  3. Tap "Email" to attach the VCF file to an email
  4. Enter your Gmail address as the recipient, and send the email
  5. On the Vitria, open the email containing the file attachment
  6. Download the VCF file on your Android device, and use the contacts app to import the contacts

Using "Bump":

Bump is a pretty unique application that allows you to transfer contacts from one phone to another via cloud. Evidently, you need an active Internet connection on both the iPhone and the Vitria in order for this method to work, but that's all. No cables, no access to a computer or any other prerequisites.

  1. Visit the App Store and install "Bump" on your iPhone
  2. From the Play Store, download the same app on your Vitria
  3. Open the app on both devices. If / when prompted, allow permissions
  4. Pick up the iPhone and access the contacts section
  5. Select the contacts that you want to share with the Vitria
  6. After the "Bump now!" label appears, you can bump the devices together to begin the cloud connection process
  7. Tap "Connect" once it appears on the devices
  8. Your iPhone contacts will now be transferred over to the Huawei
