Transferring Contacts using iTunes:

As long as you have access to a computer with iTunes installed and access to the Internet, you can easily transfer the contacts from your iPhone to your Xiaomi Redmi Note by syncing them with your Google account. Once that step is done, all you need to do is to sync the contacts from the account with your Redmi Note. To do so:

  1. Open iTunes on your computer (NOTE: if necessary, you can download the app from the official Apple website)
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  3. Once connected, the smartphone will appear in iTunes. Click it and go to the "Info" tab
  4. Mark the check box next to "Sync Contacts with" and select "Google Contacts" form the drop-down menu
  5. Register your Google account in iTunes. If you've already done so, you can click "Configure" and select an account from the list
  6. Click "Apply" and wait for the syncing process to end
  7. Once that's done, add the same Google account to your Xiaomi, and allow it to sync contacts with your device. (NOTE: if you need to add the account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"

Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

As long as you've enabled the iCloud service on your iPhone, the contacts stored on your handset should also be backed up onto your iCloud account. By accessing it via a computer with Internet connection, you can export the contacts for Android use, as a VCF file. To do so:

  1. Open the Internet browser on your computer and visit https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Sign in with your iCloud account and click "Contacts"
  3. Select the contacts that you wish to export
  4. Click the "Settings" button depicting a cog wheel, and select "Export vCard"
  5. Wait for your computer to download the VCF file, and import it to "Google Contacts"
  6. Alternatively, you can skip "Google Contacts", and instead connect the Redmi Note to your computer via USB, and copy the vCard file to the phone's "sdcard" directory. Then, launch the contacts application and use the "Import form SD" function to grab the contacts from the VCF file

Using "My Contacts Backup":

If you don't have access to a computer, or you simply wish to transfer your contacts without one, then you can use applications such as "My Contacts Backup" in order to do so. This is an iOS app that can backup and send your iPhone contacts via Email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap "Backup"
  3. Wait for the backup file to be created, and once it's done, tap "Email"
  4. Attach the vCard file to the email, and send it to your own Gmail address
  5. On the Xiaomi smartphone, open the email containing the attached file, and download it
  6. Use the contacts application to import the vCard file to your Android's phonebook

Transferring Contacts through "Send Anywhere":

If you wish to use third party apps for contact transfer, you can also give "Send Anywhere" a try. This app is available on both iOS and Android, and can transfer contacts cross-platform through a peer-2-peer connection (a computer is not required). To use this method:

  1. Download "Send Anywhere" on your iPhone via the App Store
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on your Xiaomi Redmi Note
  3. Once you've installed the app on both devices, launch it
  4. From the iPhone, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
  5. Select the contacts that you want to share and tap "Send"
  6. Lastly, choose a sharing method. You can tap "Generate QR Code" to generate a code that can be scanned with the Note's camera for commencing the transfer, or you can tap "Receive" on the Android device, and input the randomly generated transfer code located on the iPhone
