Via iTunes:

NOTE: If you have iTunes installed on your computer you can use it to sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Afterwards you can resync the contacts from the account with the Alcatel OneTouch.

  1. Open iTunes on your computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your PC via USB
  3. After it connects, click the iPhone to view its summary page
  4. Click the "Info" tab and mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
  5. Select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down menu
  6. Register your Google account, or click "Configure" and select an existing account if available
  7. Click "Apply" and wait for the contacts to be synced
  8. Register the same Google account on the Alcatel OneTouch and allow it to sync contacts with your Android smartphone

Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case you've used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone before then all of your contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. By accessing it using a computer connected to the Internet you can export the contacts as a VCF file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and click "Contacts"
  4. Select the contacts you want to export and click "Settings"
  5. Click "Export vCard" and wait for the file to be downloaded on your PC
  6. Once the file is created, import it to "Google Contacts" or otherwise skip this step and instead:
  7. Connect the Alcatel smartphone to your computer via USB, copy the VCF file to its storage and then launch "People" and tap "Contacts" > "Menu" > "Import / Export". In the "Copy Contacts from" field select "Phone" or "SD card" depending on the location of the file. Follow any self-explanatory steps afterwards

Use "My Contacts Backup":

NOTE: The two methods of transfer described above require access to a computer hooked up to the Internet. However you can also rely on third party apps to transfer your contacts, such as "My Contacts Backup". It's an iOS app that can back up and export contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on the iPhone
  2. Open the application and tap "Backup"
  3. After the backup file is created tap "Email"
  4. Compose a new email with the VCF file attached to it
  5. Send the email to your own Gmail address
  6. Switch to the Alcatel smartphone and open the email
  7. Download the attached VCF file and import it using the "People" application and the "Import" function

Using "Send Anywhere":

NOTE: Send Anywhere is a third party app for iOS and Android, which uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without needing a computer.

  1. Open the App Store and install "Send Anywhere" on the iPhone
  2. Launch the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Alcatel device
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap "Contacts"
  5. Mark the contacts you want to share
  6. Tap "Send" and select a method of sharing. Tapping "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone will create a code which can be scanned with the OneTouch Pop Astro to begin the contact transfer. Otherwise you can tap "Receive" on the Alcatel and manually enter the randomly generated transfer code from the iPhone
