Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the OneTouch Pop Star to your computer via USB
  2. Swipe the “Status” bar down and ensure that the phone is connected as a “disk drive”
  3. In the AutoPlay window on the computer, double-click “Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer”
  4. Access the “Media” folder on the phone and open a second Explorer window
  5. In the second window, locate the audio files you want to use for your ringtones / notification sounds
  6. Transfer / copy the files in the “Media” directory on the phone (preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” folders)
  7. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and disconnect the phone from the USB connector

Change the Phone Ringtone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Swipe to “Device” and tap “Sound”
  4. Scroll to “Call Ringtones & vibrate” and tap “Phone ringtone”
  5. Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK”
  6. Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts that are stored on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK”

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Swipe to “Device” and tap “Sound & notification”
  3. Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
  4. Select the desired notification sound
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm
