Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Mate S to your computer via USB
- Swipe the Status bar down
- Tap USB connected and select Files. (NOTE: If any drivers are required, they will be automatically installed on the computer)
- Open an Explorer window on the computer and access the phone storage
- Launch a second Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on the PC
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Media / Ringtones / Notifications folders
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB
Change the Notification Sound:
- Tap Settings on the home screen
- Under General, tap Sound
- Tap Default notification tone
- Tap the Ringtone tab to select a preset ringtone or:
- Tap the Music tab to select a ringtone from the audio files on your phone storage
- Tap the Check mark button to confirm
Change the Ringtone:
- Tap Settings on the home screen
- Tap Sound
- Tap Phone ringtone
- If necessary, select the location of the desired ringtone
- Select the ringtone and tap the check mark icon to confirm
Set a Ringtone from the Music App:
- Open the Music app
- Select a category
- Access the song list screen
- Locate the desired song and tap next to it
- Tap Set as ringtone
