Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the BLU Dash X to your PC via USB
- On the home screen, drag the Status bar down and enable Media device (MTP) if necessary
- Open the File Explorer on your computer and locate the desired audio files
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Notifications and Ringtones folders under the Media directory
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray
- You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound
- Tap Phone ringtone under Call ringtone & vibrate
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, you can enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts stored on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Launch Contacts
- Select the contact you want to set a custom ringtone to
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to the phones Settings menu
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & notification
- Tap Default Notification Sound under Sound
- Select the desired notification sound
- Tap OK to confirm
