Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Establish a USB Connection between the Lenovo K4 Note and computer
- On the home screen, drag the Status bar down and make sure Media device (MTP) is selected
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the audio files you want to use for ringtones / notifications
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, in the Ringtones / Notification / Alarms directories
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray
- Safely disconnect the Lenovo K4 Note from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound
- Scroll to Call ringtone & vibrate
- Tap Phone ringtone and select the ringtone you want to use
- Tap OK
- Optionally, you can turn Also vibrate for calls On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cant set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Select the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the Settings menu
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Under Sound, tap Default Notification Sound
- Select the desired notification sound
- Tap OK to confirm
