Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on your computer you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync your account data, including contacts, with the ZTE Avid Plus.

  1. Connect your iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes and click the iPhone to view the summary page
  3. Access the “Info” tab
  4. Turn on “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. In iTunes, log in with your Google account, or click “Configure” to select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to finish
  7. Once completed, switch to the ZTE Avid Plus, register the same Google account used in iTunes, and allow it to sync contacts with your device

Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access your account on a computer with an active Internet connection and transfer the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts” and select the ones you wish to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once the vCard is downloaded on the PC, import it to “Google Contacts”
  7. Alternatively, skip the step above and instead connect the ZTE Avid Plus to your PC and manually transfer the vCard to the phone storage. Next, import the vCard using “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require access to a computer, alternatively you can use third party applications to transfer contacts without needing a PC. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone
  2. Launch the application
  3. Tap “Backup”
  4. After the backup file is created, tap “Email”
  5. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard backup file is attached to it
  6. Send the email to your own address
  7. On the ZTE Avid Plus, open the email, download the attached file, and import the vCard’s contents using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party application you can use to transfer contacts without requiring a PC. The app uses a P2P connection to transfer various file types, including contacts.

  1. Launch the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the ZTE Avid Plus from the Google Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  5. Tap “Send” and select a transfer method. You can tap “Receive” on the ZTE Avid Plus, or tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone, and scan the code with the ZTE camera
