Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Grand X 3 and computer
- Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen and make sure Media device (MTP) is turned on
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the audio files you wish to use on your smartphone
- Copy the files and paste them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notification / Alarms folders in the Media directory
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch the Settings menu
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound
- Tap Phone ringtone under Call ringtone & vibrate
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, you can turn Also vibrate for calls On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Select the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the Settings menu
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Under Sound, tap Default Notification Sound
- Select the desired notification sound
- Tap OK to confirm
