Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Lava Iris Atom 3 and PC
- On the phone, swipe the Status bar down and make sure "Media device (MTP) is selected
- On the PC, open the File Explorer
- Locate the desired audio files on your computer and copy them
- Transfer the files in the Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms folders on the phone storage
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound
- Scroll to Call ringtone & vibrate and tap Phone ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally you can enable or disable Also vibrate or calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Access All Contacts and select the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the ringtone you want to use
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the Settings menu
- Tap Sound & Notification under Device
- Under Sound, tap Default Notification Sound
- Tap the notification sound you wish to use
- Tap OK to confirm
