Export iPhone Contacts from iCloud:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account using a computer with Internet access, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use. To use this method:
- Open the Internet browser on your computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and access Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard has been downloaded, perform one of the following steps:
- Import the file via Google Contacts
- Connect the Acer phone to your computer via USB, copy the vCard to the phone storage, and use the Contacts app to import it to your phonebook
Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: If you have iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can use the application to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data with the Acer device.
- Establish a USB connection between the PC and iPhone using the Lightning cable
- Launch iTunes on the PC
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to the Info tab
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account, or if applicable, you can click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is done, log in with the same Google account on the Acer Liquid Z630 and allow it to sync contacts with your Android device
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Although the methods above require access to a computer, alternatively you can use third party applications to transfer your iPhone contacts. Send Anywhere is an app that uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without a computer.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the same app on the Acer device via the Google Play Store
- Open the application on both smartphones
- Tap Send on the iPhone
- Tap Contacts and select the contacts you want to share
- Tap Send
- Lastly, you will need to select a transfer method, such as Generate QR Code on the iPhone, or Receive on the Acer device
Via My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Last but not least, My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer your iPhone contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup
- Once the backup file has been created, tap Email
- Make sure the email contains the vCard as an attachment
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Acer device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Use the Contacts application to import the vCards contents to your phonebook
