Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the ZTE Grand X Max 2 to your computer via USB
    2. When prompted, turn on “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” on the phone; otherwise enable the feature from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Use the Explorer to locate the audio files on your computer
    5. Copy the desired audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder and “Ringtones” / “Alarms” / “Notifications” directories
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Change The General Ringtone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Under “Device”, tap “Sound & notification”
    4. Tap “Phone ringtone”
    5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
    6. Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” on or off

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
