Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Alcatel device to your computer via USB
  2. Turn on “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
  4. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” folders
  5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings”
  3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Tap “Phone ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
  6. Optionally, you can choose to enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Chang the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You cannot assign custom ringtones to contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the contact you want to customize and tap “Edit”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Access “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default Notification Ringtone”
  4. Select the notification sound you want to use and tap “OK” to confirm
