Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Alcatel device to your computer via USB
- Turn on File Transfer (MTP) / Media Device (MTP) at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms folders
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Phone ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, you can choose to enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Chang the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot assign custom ringtones to contacts located on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact you want to customize and tap Edit
- Tap Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Access Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default Notification Ringtone
- Select the notification sound you want to use and tap OK to confirm
