Sync iPhone Contacts with a Google Account via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data and contacts with the BLU smartphone.
- Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and computer using the Lightning cable
- Open iTunes on the computer and access Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively you can click Configure and select an existing account if applicable
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the BLU Studio G Max and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, perform one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the BLU Studio G Max to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can transfer iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Access the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup. This will create a vCard backup file with your iPhone contacts
- Once the vCard is done, tap Email
- Make sure the vCard backup file is attached to the email and send it to your own address
- Switch to the BLU Studio G Max, open the email, and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for transferring contacts without a computer. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer files cross-platform.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Access the Google Play Store and install the same app on the BLU Studio G Max
- Launch the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contact transfer method, such as Generate QR Code on the iPhone or Receive on the BLU Studio G Max. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
