Sync iPhone Contacts with Google using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data and contacts with the Lenovo.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Launch iTunes and click the iPhone once connected
- Go to the Info section and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- After the sync is done, switch to the Lenovo device, register the same Google account used in iTunes and allow the account to sync contacts with your phone
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer and follow one of these steps:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Lenovo device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import its contents to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Open the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup to create a vCard backup file of your contacts
- Once done, tap Email and make sure the vCard is attached to the mail
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- Switch to the Lenovo device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard using Contacts
Via Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use on both iOS and Android is Send Anywhere. It uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types cross-platform, without requiring a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Launch the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Lenovo K6 Power
- Launch the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Choose a transfer method such as Receive or Generate QR Code and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
