Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the Allview V2 Viper S to your computer via USB
- Turn ON File Transfer (MTP) / Media device (MTP) at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the computer storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones, Notifications and / or Alarms folder(s)
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Access Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, you can enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM card or phones internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact you want to set a ringtone to
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
