Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the ZTE Blade X Max to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the desired audio files on the phone, preferably in the Ringtones and/or Notifications folder(s)
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Select the ringtone you want to assign and tap OK
- Optionally, select whether to Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone for a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification sound and tap OK to confirm
