Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the BLU Studio J2 to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” shade
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
  4. Transfer the desired audio files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” folder(s)
  5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
  4. Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off

Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact then tap “Edit”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Launch “Settings” and scroll to “Device”
  2. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “OK” to confirm
