Back Up and Restore App Data:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Personal and tap Backup & reset
- Turn Back up my data ON to back up Wi-Fi passwords, settings, and app data to your Google backup account
- Enable Automatic Restore to allow app data to be restored automatically upon reinstalling apps or when you sign in with your backup account
Back Up and Restore Contacts Using an Account:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to and tap Accounts
- Tap an account type and the desired account
- If necessary, enable Contacts
- Tap Menu > Sync now
NOTE: Contacts backed up using the method above can be restored automatically when signing in with your backup account.
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files on the phone storage and copy them
- Transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Archos 50 Graphite to your computer via USB
- Enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media file backups on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Media directory or the folders of origin
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
