Back Up and Restore App Data:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Personal”
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, Wi-Fi passwords, and settings to your Google account
  5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically when reinstalling them or signing in with the Google backup account

Back Up and Restore Contacts:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Accounts”
  3. Select an account type
  4. Select the account you want to use for contact backup
  5. If necessary, enable “Contacts”
  6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

NOTE: You can restore the contacts the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the BLU device to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
  5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the BLU device to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
  5. Copy and transfer the backup files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
  6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
