Back Up and Restore App Data:
- Launch Settings
- Under Personal, tap Backup & reset
- Enable Back up my data to back up Wi-Fi passwords, settings, and app data to your Google backup account
- Enable Automatic Restore to allow app data, passwords, and settings to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or signing in with the backup account
Back Up and Restore Contacts:
- Open Contacts
- Access Accounts
- Select an account type and the account you want to use for the backup
- Ensure Contacts and tap Menu > Sync Now
NOTE: You can restore contacts by syncing them with your device the next time you sign in with your Google account.
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the BLU device to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the BLU R2 LTE to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Media folder
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
