Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then you can sync the account data including contacts with the Karbonn device.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Launch iTunes and click the iPhone
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the iPhone contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer
- Once done, follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is a third party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup
- After the backup is done, tap Email
- Ensure the backup file is attached and send the email and attachment to your own address
- On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app that can be used for sharing iPhone contacts. The app is available on Android and iOS, and uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform without requiring a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Launch the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
- Open the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
