Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once done, switch to the Android phone and register the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the iPhone contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded and follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Android device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the backup is done, tap “Email”
  4. Ensure the backup file is attached and send the email to your own address
  5. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere. The app is available on iOS and Android, and uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform without requiring a PC.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
