Back Up & Restore App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Personal”
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and passwords to your Google account
  5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or signing in with the backup account

Back Up and Restore Contacts:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Scroll to and go to “Accounts”
  3. Select the desired account type
  4. Select an account to use for contact syncing
  5. Ensure “Contacts” is checked
  6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be restored the next time you sign in with the backup account and sync the account data with your device.

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Karbonn device to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media files on the phone storage
  5. Copy and transfer the media files in the desired backup location on the computer
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray
  7. You can safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Restore Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Karbonn device to your computer via USB
  2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media file backups on the computer
  5. Copy and transfer the backup files back on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
