Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Afterwards you can sync the account data including contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing one
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once the sync is complete, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can export the contacts from iCloud in a vCard file for Android.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the desired contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard has been downloaded on the computer:
- Open the Internet browser and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: My Contacts Backup is another third party app you can use for transferring iPhone contacts without requiring a computer, via email.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your contacts
- Once done, tap Email
- Ensure the vCard is attached and send the email to your own address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Via Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.
- Open the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the same app on the Android device via the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
