Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an Internet connection you can sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Select “Google contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. After the sync is done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contact you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your contacts
  3. After the backup is done, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email and ensure the vCard is attached
  5. Switch to the Android phone and open the email
  6. Download the vCard and import its contents to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Via Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use on Android and iOS to share your iPhone contacts over a peer-2-peer connection without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts to share and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, choose a transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
