Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- Enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the desired audio files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the Media directory
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound and Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, turn Also vibrate for calls ON or OFF
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the phones internal memory or the SIM Card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact and tap Edit
- Tap Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone to use for the specific contact and press OK to confirm
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification > Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification sound
- Press OK to confirm
