Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data including contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
- Go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts with
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure or select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:
NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Perform one of the following steps after the vCard is downloaded:
- Launch the Internet browser on the PC and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is a third-party app for iOS that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Once done, tap Email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address and switch to the Android phone
- Open the email and download the vCard
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contact and other file types without requiring computer access.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Go to the Play Store and install the same app o the Android device
- Open the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Select the desired transfer method
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
