Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes and click the iPhone
- Go to the Info section and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share and click Settings
- Click Export vCard and wait for the file to be downloaded
- Once done, perform one of the following steps:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: You can also share your contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share your iPhone contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
- Once the vCard is done, tap Email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app on Android an iOS, which can be used to share your iPhone contacts, cross-platform, over a peer-2-peer connection without requiring a computer.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the app on the Android device from the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
