Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to your audio files
- Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtone folder
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, turn Also vibrate for calls ON or OFF
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phones on-board memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select a ringtone and tap OK
Change Notification Sounds:
- Open Settings
- Access Sound & Notification and tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification sound and tap OK
