Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in to the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file, which can then be imported on the Android phone.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the PC
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Perform one of the following steps:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer import the vCard to your account via Google Contacts

Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: you can use iTunes to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. Go to “info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can use third-party apps to share your contacts. My Contacts Backup can be used to share contacts via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Then create an email and attach the vCard
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
  2. Install the app on the Android device from the Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both phones
  4. Select the desired contacts on the iPhone and tap “Send”
  5. Choose a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts
