Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC storage
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” directory
  6. After the process is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Tap “Sound and Notification”
  3. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  4. Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Tap “Set ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  5. Select the desired notification sound and press “OK”
